I can't pretend to understand the first thing about Necrons, but this is nice clean work!
Seeing as you seem to base minis in a similar way to me, you might be interested in my Indian ink discovery last week: I don't know how to link from these things, but it's called "033 Minor Revelations in Basing" - the comments go into more detail.
